Meet Your Coaches
Experienced, passionate instructors dedicated to helping every student grow on and off the mat.

Caleb Lewis
Head Instructor
Caleb is a black belt with over 15 years of martial arts experience, including wrestling, Muay Thai, and MMA. He competed in wrestling throughout high school, reaching the regional level, and has channeled that competitive drive into Jiu Jitsu.
Caleb and his brother Brandon won NAGA together at blue belt — a milestone that fueled their passion for teaching and competing. As head instructor, Caleb brings technical precision and genuine care for every student who steps on the mat.
Outside the academy, Caleb works as an X-ray technician with an associate's degree in radiologic technology. He's married to Amber and enjoys cooking in his free time.

Brandon Lewis

Brandon has over 12 years of training and instruction in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He started teaching at purple belt and has earned every stripe and belt under the guidance of Jake Whitfield.
A tournament competitor with numerous wins, Brandon brings a wealth of competition knowledge and coaches students who want to test themselves in tournaments. He's also an expert in the Gracie self-defense system.
Professionally, Brandon works as a level designer in the video game industry. He lives in Wilson, NC with his dog Putter.
